Easter Weekend

The Royal Easter Show is held every Easter Weekend here in Sydney's Olympic Park grounds. The Show is a "hyped" up carnival/state fair like thing. It was crazy filled with a bunch of people, fair food, rides, and animals. :) About eight of my friends and myself went on Good Friday and here are a few pictures of some of the things.

Alpaca :)

In one of the stadiums there was a polo match between New South Wales (the state I live in/where Sydney is) and Queensland (the state where Cairns is). The group who I was with and I only watched a little bit but it was very exciting. It seems very difficult!

On Saturday my friends Mary, Melissa, and Olivia and I went into the city and went to Paddy's Market in Sydney's Chinatown. The market is huge and has tons of cheap clothes and trinkets. I just bought a boomerang for my parents and Harper and a Bullroarer for Bailey and Kevin! :) They are all very colorful!

While trying to find a place to eat for lunch in Chinatown we passed a restaurant where these guys were hanging about in their tanks. They were HUGEE!

Easter Sunday was very low key. My roommate and I made a Spaghetti casserole and baked carrots with sangria for our roomie/family dinner. It was very yummy!

Monday Mary and I went into the city to buy new cameras and walk around the neighbourhood called the "Rocks" which is right by the Opera House. We walked along the two of the main streets, George and Pitt and soon made it in time to have dinner by the Opera House and see the sunset!
