Jervis Bay

The program that I went through to get to Australia brought myself and the rest of the people in the program to Jervis Bay. This remote area is about 2 hours south of Sydney - we heard about the indigenous population down in that area, sat around camp fires, and had a surf lesson.

The leaves from a tea plant turn this lagoon a rusty color, so it may look gross but it is really just a lot of tea :)

My friends and orientation leader, Kendal, after we all played a little game of rugby in the sand. Fun, but I was not the greatest at it.

All of the Arcadia (the program I am in) kids that go to Macquarie, including myself. This was a stop back to Sydney after the weekend in Jervis Bay.
