Classes have started in Australia this week so I won't be posting too many photos this week. My friends and I are starting to plan a trip over Easter weekend to Cairns :) We want to go dive at the reef and we don't have to be certified to go down a certain amount of meters which is cool.
Classes are going well so far. I have only had one class but there is a "lecture" and a "tutorial" for one class/subject here. The professor that I have has seems really laid back and I am excited.
Ill let everyone know my schedule once I know I want to stick with the classes I have or change them.

Harbour Cruise
Went into the City for a Harbour Cruise :)
By the time we got to the Opera House on the Cruise it was dark but I was still in awe.
Here is the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You can climb it for about $250.00 - $300.00 AUD (depending on the time of day or night) and I really want to!

Welcome to Sydney/Macquarie
After the hour flight from Melbourne I finally arrived in Sydney :) On our way to our new home for the next 4.5 months
These birds are everywhere on my campus and I am unsure to what they are (Uncle Ross can you tell me?). They are like squirrels in the U.S.
This is the view from the on campus bar, Ubar. Gorgeous!!!

Sydney
Currently in Sydney Australia settling into my apartment on the campus of Macquarie University. The weather in warm and humid (like FL) and I am exhausted still from the 20 hour flight from the states three days ago. The outdoors are beautiful though! I will hopefully be getting photos up soon. :)

Shipwreck Beach (First night in Aussie)
Here is one of the beaches two minutes from my hotel in the town of Sorrento in Victoria, AUS. The rip tide is one of the worst (where the name comes from) so we are told to not swim there, but it is very beautiful!!!
Me and my current housemate (Melissa) in Sydney.
Having to get to used to converting everything: Meters, Kilometers, Celsius and more to come most likely. I am starting to get the hang of it though. :)
Boat Ride on Vday
On our second night in Victoria we went on a boat and saw seals, birds, and dolphins. It was a perfect night out on the pacific.
Melbourne
Here is downtown Melbourne :)
Throughout Melbourne there are randomly very nice older looking buildings with nice architecture. Minus this one and one other the other buildings I saw were large modern skyscrapers.
Downtown Skyline :)
There was a street fair going on and in the middle of it were these huge signs where people had written out answers to finish questions. I thought it was interesting.
Throughout Melbourne there are randomly very nice older looking buildings with nice architecture. Minus this one and one other the other buildings I saw were large modern skyscrapers.
Behind the busy and wide main streets there are these small "lane ways" that are very small in width, with a bunch of cafe's and small stores. Very cool feel and yummy food!
There are people playing instruments everywhere in the city of Melbourne
Melbourne has one of the biggest graffiti scenes. These four pictures were of one lane way that was covered by this art.
Everything is so colorful - even the drinks! :)
This is the name of the hotel we stayed at in Melbourne. We were spoiled with suites and AC, which is not very common in Australia living.
